Volunteer to paid position?

I was involved in a nonclinical community service position that took up some pretty substantial time throughout all four years of undergrad. I spent the first two years as a volunteer, and then got paid for my work for the last two years, so I feel like I'm in a bind in terms of how to report this on AMCAS. While I'd benefit the most from calling this nonclinical volunteering, that doesn't feel entirely appropriate as I'd want to report this all as one activity with one total amount of hours. Is there a better way to do this? Or other suggestions people might have on how I could explain this in my description?

You can count it as non-clinical employment for the last two years having earned the job after 2 years of volunteer service.
